Hannah Behrman
Counseling Intern in Training
Hi there! My name is Hannah and I am currently a graduate student at MidAmerica Nazarene University's Counseling Program! I am dedicated to providing a safe, compassionate space for anyone seeking support, healing, and growth.
I have a special passion for women's health. With my own physical and mental hardships I have experienced along with walking alongside friends and family with their own experiences, I strive to help women express themselves in a safe and supportive space where you feel truly heard, seen, and valued. I understand the profound pressures and expectations women can carry, and I am here to help you reclaim your voice, confidence, and wellbeing. Together, we will explore your experiences, building a path toward self-discovery, empowerment, and lasting change.
While this is a passion of mine, I also am dedicated to walking alongside anyone who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, chronic pain, trauma, self-esteem, and anything else that is affecting your wellbeing. I can understand the fear of sharing personal stories and facing the uncomfortable feelings that come with being vulnerable with another individual. I aspire to create a space where you feel comfortable, accepted, and safe to explore your story and to foster growth.
I emphasize using a holistic approach, and meeting you where you are, by integrating your physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual wellbeing, acknowledging that all of these aspects are influential on each other. I am also interested in experiential and relational approaches, as I believe forming a trusting relationship with clients where you feel accepted as you are and comfortable as yourself is pivotal to counseling, along with fostering emotional healing and resilience through connection and self discovery.
Whether you are navigating overwhelming emotions, seeking clarity, or working towards meaningful change, I am here to support you! Together, we will explore your unique story, and help you move toward a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.
