I know what it feels like to be overwhelmed, alone, and unsure how to move forward. As a young adult, I unexpectedly became pregnant with my son. While it was one of the greatest gifts of my life, it was also an incredibly stressful and isolating season as I navigated single parenthood and found myself feeling misunderstood and, at times, left out. During that chapter, I experienced both the pain of feeling unsupported and the profound healing that comes from people who show up with genuine care and acceptance. Those experiences shaped not only who I am personally, but also how I approach therapy today.
Open Invite Therapy was created from my belief that healing begins when women feel safe enough to belong exactly as they are. I believe that true change happens within authentic connection, where you no longer have to perform or carry everything alone. When we feel seen and supported, the nervous system begins to soften, creating space for deeper healing and reconnection with ourselves.
I specialize in working with high functioning women who appear capable and strong on the outside but feel overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally alone on the inside. Many of the women I work with have insight into their patterns yet still feel stuck in their bodies or disconnected from their emotions. Some are navigating anxiety, trauma patterns, relational challenges, or hormonal and cycle related shifts that impact their emotional wellbeing and nervous system regulation.
My approach is belonging-centered, relational, and nervous system informed. I integrate somatic trauma therapies including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), NARM, and Somatic Experiencing, along with cycle-aware care that honors the natural rhythms of women’s bodies. I also offer gentle non invasive brain stimulation (tDCS) as an optional supportive tool to help regulate mood, reduce pain sensitivity, and support nervous system balance. Rather than focusing only on insight or coping skills, our work supports both the mind and body, allowing deeper and more sustainable change to emerge over time.
Therapy with me is not about fixing you or pushing you to become someone different. It is about creating a space where you can slow down, feel fully welcomed, and reconnect with the grounded, authentic version of yourself that exists beneath stress and survival patterns.
If you have spent much of your life being the strong one for others, this is a place where you do not have to hold everything together. You get to belong.
